1) Congestion control in high speed communications networks. Internet congestion control. Ongoing projects include research in collaboration with Prof. Mario Gerla at the Computer Science Department of the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA)
2) Control and synchronization of chaotic and hyperchaotic systems
3) Discrete event control, Petri nets, Manufacturing Systems.
